Awning plagiarists working overtime | ||

Isabella, the Danish awning manufacturer, has always been at the forefront with regard to innovation and development, and thus the company’s products have always been the most reproduced in Europe. But European plagiarists are now having to work overtime. Isabella has launched an interesting and innovative product, namely the Commodore Alpha awning. Due to its special construction and design it is not an awning that is easily plagiarized. The front has a new design with high arched window sections and a wide roof canopy that tapers down at each side. The two front sections can be totally removed without the awning losing its stability, which is due to a new invention, namely a strong guy rope with a special storm securing strap. It has been named ”Typhoon”, which describes its ability to secure the awning even in strong gales. Compared with other storm securing systems it is very easy to handle due to its integrated wooden guy rope tightener. The Commodore Alpha is three metres deep and will no doubt be the preferred choice of many campers. At each side section the entrance door can be placed near the caravan or towards the front. In the right side there is an openable window with mosquito net. The colours are also completely new. The sides are tweed-coloured, the front is flax- coloured and the lower part of the front has a characteristic black design with an orange stripe. | |||||
The roof canvas is a new beige colour, which gives a warm and pleasant light. The growing interest in awning extensions has led to Isabella designing a new large extension in the same design as the Alpha model. The extension has frosted window sections and two entrances at the front with a mosquito net in the middle. The awning is equipped with a newly designed curtain fabric named ”Toscana”, which matches the new canvas colours. To mention a few accessories there is a door canopy for the sides, a front sun canopy that functions as a covered patio and aluminium gutters. | |||||
