Fitting curtains is a game |
||
All caravanners know the irritation that can arise fitting curtains to the awning. The traditional curtain clip isn´t very handy, but danish awning manufacturer Isabella has a cure for that. Under development for several years , a new and simple curtain fitting system is revealed for 2003. In all its simplicity the system is that you fix small clips on the curtain track which are above all the windows. After that you fit some clips that resemble wheels to the curtains. These wheels connect to the clips fastened to the curtain track. The clips on the curtain track slide mechanism, so that you easily can pull the curtains. At the bottom of the side windows the curtain is kept in place by a convenient curtain holder. The advantage of the new system is that it only needs to be fitted once. (except when the curtains needs to be washed, when the wheel/clips need to be removed). This curtain system also means that the caravanners can choose which side of the curtains goes on the in/out side. Among the awnings which is presented on the market this year is Isabellas Commodore series, which because of it´s extradepth – that is three metres instead of the normal 2,5 metres – is very popular. Today the important awning space is regarded as part of the living area of the caravan. |

The Commodore when correctly erected provides an extra large room with a warmer climate than the outdoors. The easy frame system in a choice of Fibreglass or Steel means the Commodore is suitable for both permanent pitches and the touring Caravanner. Site the whole summer through and savor the space or transport your “living room” wherever your travels take you. The Commodore series is available two colour combinations that is the Gold-model in oxford blue with argent windows and front. And the Rosso-model with aubergine and cambridge blue combination. |
