Isabella, the Danish awning manufacturer, only usually produces awnings for caravans. But many people have realized that the new multi-purpose sun canopy Shadow can be used in many other places where shade and shelter are required, for instance in places where shelter from the evening dew is required. Shadow was originally intended as a quick and handy sun canopy for caravans, but it is just as quick and handy to fix to the roof of a car in order to create shade for a picnic. It is also an ideal and very economical way of creating shade on the patio. If Shadow is to be attached to something other than a caravan, all that is needed is a little extra equipment such as a few poles and a unique click profile. Then it’s just a matter of one’s imagination. "It would come as no surprise if one day the sun canopy is to be found on a boat, for instance as a canopy attached to the wheel house,” says sales manager Tommy Boisen from Isabella. The Shadow sun canopy is available in four widths, namely 240 cm, 300 cm, 360 cm and 400 cm. They are all 200 cm deep. The two smallest are supplied with two support poles and the two largest with three support poles. |

The canvas is made of strong polyester, and it is basically grey with blue trimmings and an orange storm guy strip in the middle. One of the advantages of the Shadow sun canopy is that it is lightweight. The smallest version weighs only 3.5 kg, which is mainly due to the super lightweight IXL fibreglass poles.
