Neat and practical but never ostentatious – words that readily sum up the Commodore Classic from Isabella, the Danish awnings manufacturer in Vejle. The awning offers everything today’s caravanners need, in a timeless and practical design. The need for space is easily met with a depth of three metres, and the awning offers an endless array of possible uses with its many entrances and openings. The two front panels and the sides may be removed or folded down half-way using the tried-and-tested long continuous zips and a Veranda pole, one of which is supplied as standard. With four doors, the entrance may be placed wherever it is most convenient in terms of furniture layout, wind and weather, and the caravan's position in relation to neighbouring caravanners. An excellent indoor climate is guaranteed with the ventilation net panels in both sides and the triangular air vent at the front. The panels in the sides are covered by zipped foil windows, and a special breathable acrylic material has been used for the canvas in the sides and front. The roof is made of heavy-duty patterned polyester designed to cope with whatever the weather throws at it, just like the charcoal grey PVC base which makes cleaning a simple matter. Despite its size, the Commodore Classic is easy to erect and is suitable for both permanent pitching and touring. The pole system is very stable, and designed to cope with temperamental weather. The Commodore Classic is either with the hot-galvanized Zinox steel frame, or a lightweight CarbonX reinforced fibreglass frame. Isabella has produced a range of optional accessories for the Commodore Classic. For those in need of additional space, there are annexes which may be used as extra |
