Replacement of stop-ends/zips
| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Zips are an important part of the awning and are often in constant use, therefore it is important to maintain and care for their various parts. Since they do most of the work, the sliders are very exposed to wear and tear, and on the next page, you will find out how easy it is to replace them. The stop end at the end of each zip half can become very worn and may need replacing. This is easy to do with the help of a screwdriver, ordinary contact glue, and a pair af flatnose pliers. With correct zip maintenance, wear and tear on all awning parts is reduced.
