Whilst being made to the highest specifications, the window material needs to be soft

enough for folding, and for maximum vision, it must also be as transparent as possible.

Isabella uses the best available window material from leading manufacturers who, because of environmental restrictions, are no longer allowed to use the heavy metal consisting softener Barium/Cadmium. The replacement softener is Barium/Zinc, which unfortunately causes changes to the structure of the material and makes blemishes and fold marks more distinct. Where double folding occurs, the marks may appear to be small lacerations but these are not detrimental to the awning.

For the immediate future it is impossible to avoid this problem, but our customers can rest assured in Isabella's guarantee to always use the finest material available. That is, a foil that withstands ultraviolet rays and temperatures from -25°C to +60°C.

When the awning has been stored for any length of time, we recommend that you remove the panels from the box/bag a couple of days before each usage and hang them in a warm place - i.e. above a radiator (but not touching it). This will help to alleviate the problem.
