Loyal Penta campers

Many campers who have the large pentagonal Penta awning replace it with a new Penta awning when it’s time for renewal.
This is due to several reasons. First and foremost it is due to the fact that the large awning from Isabella, the Danish awning manufacturer, meets most campers’ needs and requirements as to size, stability and extension possibilities, and last but not least campers choose the awning because of its pleasant indoor atmosphere.
Penta saw the light of day in 1985, and it is the market’s most stable awning for permanent pitching. In spite of its size – up to 23 square metres – the awning can withstand severe storms. The secret is its shape with the five slanting sides. This means that the wind cannot get a hold of the awning and, furthermore, rainwater easily runs off. A wide roof canopy all the way round ensures that rainwater does not run down the sides and cause dirty stripes.
Its good stability is also due to an advanced pole construction and a heavy-duty 280g dope-dyed acrylic canvas. Dope-dyeing means that the canvas is dyed in the grain, and therefore the colours do not easily fade. Its remarkable stability, even in stormy weather, has resulted in many campers referring to the awning as Pentagon.
The awning is very spacious, and because there is no need for a supporting pole in the middle of the awning, it can seat many people. Due to two light panels in the roof there is always a pleasant light inside the awning – even if there is no sunshine. In fact, Penta is the only awning on the market with light panels in the roof.
In addition to the fact that Penta in itself has many different facilities, there is a very comprehensive range of accessories, which has mainly been brought about by

requests from campers.
The side extension is one of the most popular – sometimes campers have an extension on each side of the awning. It can be used for many purposes such as a porch area with room for overcoats etc. It can also be used as an extra room for children or guests, or as extra storage space.
A door canopy is also an available accessory, which due to its construction provides shelter from strong winds even when the awning door is open. It can be placed in one of Penta’s two corner sections. A mosquito net section is also an available accessory.
