He arrived in dashing style and splendid mood, and the tour of the factory went as planned and with many questions and explanations relating to production, employees and future development. He seemed genuinely interested in the products and the company, and on entering the showrooom, he exclaimed, ”they are practically villas!” Many kind words were spoken, and the preview of ”Reflex”, the Showtent that’s been developed together with the pictorial artist Karen Ozmec, captured the prince´s interest. When Isabella´s gift to the prince was revealed, a playtent for his grandchildren, his reaction was beyond all expectations. Camping is a family business Søren Odgaard told him. Prince Henrik replied ”it is possible, that I will have to camp outside the first night, in there with the children” The visit, to Isabella, by His Royal Highness was a major event, and a great experience. We feel that a piece of Isabella history was added this day. All the employees waved goodbye with flags along Isabellahøj (the main street past the factory) as the cortege went away. Afterwards an exclusive bottle of fine wine, was presented to all the employees, to commemorate this very special visit. | ||
