Sun tent for touring caravanning - ideal for southern climes

The designers at the Danish Isabella awning factory have come up with an exciting and highly practical sun tent especially for all those touring caravanners who head south in the summer. The tent really comes into its own in high temperatures, and is particularly suitable for caravanners who make repeated stops.
In reality the Zenith Steel Blue, as the combi-awning is known, is a sun canopy and awning in one, with removable front panels and sides. A range of optional extras are available, making the Zenith Steel Blue a truly multi-functional solution.
The new combi-awning has numerous advantages. Compared with traditional awnings, it is extremely easy to erect and a good deal lighter, in part because it has no roof canopy. Most importantly, however, it can be transformed from a practical sun canopy to a roomy awning in a matter of moments, simply by zipping on the removable front and side panels.
Optional extras include a so-called partition wall complete with door. Once the partition wall is added, the Zenith features not only a small enclosed awning but also an open porch where bicycles and prams can be stored in the dry.
Needless to say, there are mosquito net panels in both sides – a must for caravanners as protection against insects during evenings and at night.
The canvas combines light and dark blue shades. The roof,

which is sky grey, is made of heavy-duty polyester to protect against hard rain. In common with standard awnings, the Zenith Steel Blue has a depth of 2.5 metres. Curtains are available as an optional extra, and are easily fitted using the integral curtain tracks.
The Zenith Steel Blue is available with either Zinox steel poles or the new very strong and highly elastic CarbonX carbon fibre-reinforced fibreglass poles. Caravanners who already have a Commodore, Ambassador or Capri awning from Isabella can use their existing poles.
