The largest awning on the market from Isabella
When Isabella, the Danish awning manufacturer, presents its 2004 product range at the European camping exhibitions, it has, literally speaking, a very substantial piece of news to convey. The most interesting innovation is the market’s largest awning. It has been named Forum. It is no less than 3.5 metres deep and has no rounded corners. The largest of the Forum awnings provides a covered area of up to 30 square metres. This is 10-20 per cent more than Isabella’s Penta, which has up until now been the company’s largest awning. The Penta will still be available throughout 2004 and will remain unchanged. In addition to its spaciousness Forum has a number of other innovative features. The front can, for instance, be recessed one metre, thus providing a kind of covered patio area. It is also possible to make a cosy alcove by recessing only half of the front. This can be used as a covered entrance or a sheltered area where one can for instance sit and read the newspaper. Similar to some of the other 2004 models, Forum has arched window sections at the front. Available in the colour combination tweed/sky-blue. But Isabella’s 2004 product range also includes other interesting items. For instance a new awning has been added to the very popular Commodore series. The new model has been named Commodore Alpha. It has a very characteristic look with its arched front panel and its high window sections. Moreover, it has a larger side opening, and by removing the front and the sides it can be used as a very large sun canopy. A 300x140cm extension, probably the market’s largest, is available as an extra item. This is actually the equivalent to a small awning. Available in the colour combination tweed/flax. The other tents in the Commodore series, the Commodore Gold and the Commodore Rosso, will still be available and will remain unchanged.
The Ambassador series has also been extended with an Alpha model. It has the classically arched design, and the centre of the roof canopy has been extended at the front and its sides are tapered towards the ground. This gives more shelter. At the front there are vertical mosquito nets next to the window sections. Due to the extended roof canopy the mosquito nets can be open even in rainy weather. The Ambassador Alpha is available in the colour combination tweed/sky-blue. The Ambassador Crown will remain unchanged. The range of small awnings includes the lightweight awning Capri for use en route, and it is still available in three colour combinations. The part awnings Minor and Magnum, which are suitable for almost all caravans will remain unchanged. The sturdy universal awnings 360 and 300 are made to endure the elements from early spring to late autumn. They have undergone rigorous testing, and they are for instance used in Norway all year round, also during snowy periods. Usually it is only the actual winter awnings that are recommended for use all year round. The flagship Universal 240 will in 2004 be available in a new colour combination, namely tweed/sky-blue. Other winter awnings are Snowboy and Capri Snow. Isabella also has a range of sun canopies to suit every need. The Sun Blue sun canopy with sides that can be zipped off has become very popular. But many campers also find the sun tent Zenith very interesting. It is a sun canopy and an awning all in one. It is very useful as a lightweight awning for use in warm climates and for use when en route, as it is quick to erect, and it can be used for many purposes. Isabella’s 2004 range of products also includes a comprehensive range of accessories including windscreens, sunblinds and carpets.
