The most comprehensive range ever from Isabella

Isabella has taken on board the wish expressed by many caravanners for more individual solutions – the Danish awnings manufacturer’s 2008 range comprises no less than 18 different models.

The growing interest in camping over the past few years has meant that many new caravanners want equipment to match their expectations for life in the great outdoors. This trend is reflected in the range that the Danish Isabella factory, the largest specialist awnings manufacturer in Europe, will present to the market in 2008.

With no less than 18 different awnings, various sun canopies and a wealth of equipment, this is the company's most impressive collection ever. It’s fair to say that there are awnings here for every occasion, along with an amazing range of accessories that allow caravanners to arrange their awning to suit their own individual needs and tastes.

Generally speaking, caravanners want more spacious awnings – and that isn’t just true for those with children. The interest in different ventilation options, including mosquito nets, is also high – although all solutions must, of course, be both elegant and useful.

Many caravanners have also discovered the advantages offered by lightweight poles such as CarbonX, which mean awnings weigh less and are far easier to erect.

The demand for optional accessories has also increased markedly in the past few years. This applies to annexes which, when combined with an inner tent that may be used as a bedroom, and can be used as a separate space for children or visitors. Or the annex with its separate entrance door can be used as a storage room for equipment. Other popular accessories include sun canopies, sun blinds, windscreens, gutters, lamp shades and chair cushions in colours that match the awnings.

The 2008 range includes six categories of awnings, all of which feature exciting new models along with well-known classics that have proven their worth year after year.

The extra large models include three celebrated awnings – the Vision, the Forum and the Penta. These are the largest awnings available on the market, and all are highly advanced with a high utility value within their respective categories.

The three-metre deep awnings are some of the most

popular on the market, mainly because caravanners want more space. These awnings include the Commodore Royal, now with new classic zips, and this year’s real innovation from Isabella – the Opus 300. This new model excels with its modern design, large windows at the front and integral ventilation nets in the sides.

The Opus 300 has a lovely, light interior because of the light-coloured textiles and the large window spaces for incoming light. The model was tested at various European camping sites over the summer of 2007. It attracted a great deal of attention because of its light interior, which was praised to the skies. Unusually, the factory has already received a number of advance orders for the Opus 300, which will be available in the autumn of 2007.

The group of 2.5-metre deep awnings includes the Ambassador, the Mistral and the three different versions of the Capri Lux. This year the Ambassador, like its big brother the Commodore Royal, comes with the new classic zips which make it easier to attach and remove the front sections. The light Capri Lux is available in three new colour versions: blue, burgundy and green.

The group of part awnings includes the Magnum and the Minor. The latter has been redesigned with a larger window at the front which, together with the large side windows, provides a lovely, light conservatory. This model now features doors on both side panels.

The Universal awnings, which may be used all year round, include three sizes that are 420, 360 and 300 cm wide respectively. Finally, winter caravanners can choose between the luxurious Universal 240 and the more economical Snowboy model.

When it comes to accessories, the Zenith Lux – a cross between a sun canopy and an awning – continues to attract a great deal of interest. Many travelling caravanners have discovered that it’s a quick and easy solution in southern climes where the weather is warmer, since it can be used as a sun canopy during the day and as an awning in the evenings and at night.

Isabella has a wide range of traditional sun canopies and windscreens available, along with a wealth of equipment designed to make awnings easier to erect and camping more comfortable.
