Isabella - New Forum awning with bay or covered porch options

The Forum awning’s bay option can be used to create a storm porch or a small terrace in front of the entrance.

A new 2009 version of the Forum, the most spacious awning on the market, is now available from the Danish Isabella factory in Vejle. The three and half metre deep awning’s basic structure remains unchanged, but the many exciting new features, most of which have come about through collaboration with users, include new colours, new curtains, a new window layout and an extra front section. These changes allow more light in the awning, and have created greater opportunities for a variety of layouts.

The new window sections are based on traditional conservatory windows which are designed to allow as much incoming light as possible. The windows are decorated with new curtains, and the Dot Honey design is both warm and welcoming.

In addition to its size, the Forum is best known for allowing users to design their own layout. In the basic model, the entire front section can be moved back a metre to create room for a covered porch. Alternatively, users can choose to move just one half of the front section back to create a small bay section and a storm porch in front of the entrance.

In line with the wishes of caravanners, the Isabella factory has produced an additional front section for the 2009 season. This enables users to create an entrance porch within the awning itself. The entrance porch is ideal for buggies or wheelchairs, and for storing outdoor clothing.

Caravanners who require even more space can add an annex for sleeping or the optional front sun canopy to create a terrace in front .

Other practical details include ventilation nets on both sides which may be left open even in wet weather since they are angled and fitted with covers.

The Forum is a highly stable awning, if it is to be permanently pitched most of the year where the weather may turn severe, it is a good idea to secure it with an additional roof and support poles, as well as larger storm pegs.

With its many layout options and spacious interior, the Forum awning is in demand with all types of families. The easy assembly frame system is a master in design. It is used extensively for permanent pitching, although it is equally suitable for touring using the lightweight CarbonX carbon fibre poles.
