”We call it ‘your outdoor living room’, because that’s what it is. The living room where we sit and pass the time when we are camping. This is where we relax, this is where we eat and this is where we enjoy ourselves. To put it simply: This is where we are when we’re not sleeping. Something to bear in mind when you are looking for a new awning.”

A number of new models will be seeing the light of day at the upcoming trade fairs all over Europe.

The popular, well-known models Penta and Commodore, which are synonymous with spaciousness and comfort in a quality that makes them ideal for permanent pitchers and touring caravanners alike, are now also available in two new colour combinations. Penta and Commodore are made of Isacryl, an acrylic material developed especially for Isabella, which means that the fibre meets the demands of the modern awning. Isabella awnings cannot fade. Penta is 3.5 metres deep and Commodore 3 metres.

The colours are beautifully balanced in shades of grey, which makes for an exclusive and attractive awning. An optimal indoor climate is assured by the awning’s good ventilation possibilities. The sturdy, top coated roof ensures that the awning retains its looks and repels water for many years.

The Penta Concept and Commodore Concept awnings, which have taken the market by storm over the past few seasons, will now be getting a little sister in the Ambassador model. The same attractive design as the Concept models, but in a depth of 2.5 metres.

Part-awnings are becoming an increasingly popular choice of awning for camping trips in the spring or autumn – even if just for a weekend. The new Minor has a 200 x 260 cm base and is perfect for these short breaks as it doesn’t take up a lot of space, but has plenty of room for a table and a couple of chairs. Minor is made of Isacryl, a strong, breathable and colourfast material. Minor comes with the familiar CarbonX poles, a fibre frame reinforced with carbon. Minor is designed in attractive grey/sand colours and has large side windows, one of which also has integrated ventilation net panels.

For campers on the move or who want a sun canopy that can be put up in a jiffy, the new Transit is a must. The new Transit from Isabella is a sun canopy and awning in one. The roof comes with CarbonX fibre poles. Using the integrated FixOn fittings for assembly of the poles, it takes just minutes to put up. The roof is available in two sizes: 3.4 metres and 4.2 metres, and is made of durable polyester. The additional purchase of sides provides extra shelter under the sun canopy, and if you wish to use Transit as a closed awning, a front is also available as an optional extra. Assembly of these is easy with the help of channels and Velcro closings. Transit has a depth of 265 cm, providing ample space for a table and chairs.

Transit takes up minimal space in the caravan and, packed together, the roof, front and sides fit easily in one of the storage compartments.

The Space storage awning has proved very popular over the past few years, as the possibility of storing bicycles, barbecue, etc. has been a requirement when leaving the caravan after the weekend break. Isabella is following up on the success of Space with the launch of yet another storage awning for the 2012 season –Space de luxe. Space de luxe comes in attractive grey colours to match the Isabella awnings, and features the familiar porthole, so the awning and storage awning harmonise and visually “melt” together.
