The river runs about 35 kilometres from Nørre Løgum to Ballum Sluse on the Wadden Sea. Brede Å is one of Southern Jutland's most popular canoeing destinations, as the river and the land is flat and therefore a very calm watercourse that is perfect for canoeing. If you don't have your own canoe, you can easily rent one from Sønderjysk Kanoudlejning.
