Seläter Camping is a quiet and peaceful family campsite located a few kilometers from the center of Strömstad.
The campsite is located in a wind-protected area with the forest as its closest neighbor, but at the same time close to the sea and a fantastic archipelago. It's simply idyllic for nature lovers. .
Active vacation
The camping area also offers a range of activities for those who enjoy being active on vacation.
There's a playground with bouncy castle, pedal cars, mega chess, mini golf, bike rental and games room Seläter Camping is also an excellent starting point for those who want to hike along the West Coast Trail and Bohusleden.
Just under a kilometer from the sea baths
After a 900 meter walk you'll reach Seläterbadet with a water slide, diving tower, sandy beach and a large, lovely lawn.
A little further north along the coast you'll find Capri Havsbad, which attracts with a fantastic sandy beach, wonderfully warm rocks and views of Norway.
Play golf at Sweden's westernmost golf course
If you're keen to test your swing, we recommend Strömstad Golf Club with its lovely parkland course right next to the campsite.
Right next to us is Sweden's westernmost golf course and we can now, in collaboration with Strömstad Golfklubb, offer some great golf days that you combine with accommodation with us.

Hiking vacation
The Bohus Trail consists of 27 stages, offering a total of 37 kilometers of scenic and varied hiking. It stretches from Lindome in the south to Strömstad in the north. The varied stages in Strömstad municipality are easily accessible and stretch between Strömstad - Högstad - Krokstrand - Vassbottna and then continue the hike in Tanum municipality. Bohusleden winds along paths, minor roads, forests and sometimes through idyllic farms.
The trail also offers views of the countryside, a trip up Bohuslän's highest mountain Björnerödpiggen at Krokstrand offers beautiful views of the Idefjord and the surrounding countryside. We also recommend Rogstad Hillern shelter, where from the top you have a view of Strömstad and the Koster Sea to the west that stretches for miles.

TimeOut tent
Our TimeOut luxury glamping tents are located in camping area B. This is for those who want to test the camping life without having to give up the comfort of a cabin. The tent can accommodate 4 people in beds + 2 people on a sofa bed. Duvets and pillows are available for 6 beds.
In addition to beds, the tent has a dining area, 3-person sofa bed, sun deck, mini fridge, plates, glasses and cutlery for 6 people, kettle, sink, clothes rack and small storage unit as well as a waste kit and vacuum cleaner.
Furry pets are welcome. Remember to bring a blanket or sheets to protect our furniture. Clean extra carefully for the guest who comes after you.
Barbecue is not included, large communal barbecues are in front of each service house. In the adjacent service house you will find a shower and toilet as well as a kitchen.
Our luxurious TimeOut glamping tents are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival until 11:00 on the day of departure. Guests are responsible for cleaning upon departure, unless otherwise agreed.
