Hiking vacation by the Øhavsstien
Just 1 km from Faaborg Camping, you can embark on the Archipelago Trail. This hiking route gives you the opportunity to experience beautiful panoramic landscapes of the South Funen Archipelago and unique cultural landscapes.
The Archipelago Trail stretches over 220 km and is one of Denmark's longest hiking routes that embraces the archipelago. Along the way, you can enjoy varied natural areas, manor houses, villages and market towns, all characterized by exciting cultural history.
Horseback riding tours at Riderutesydfyn
Just outside Faaborg Camping you will find Riderutesydfyn - an established route of 75 km on horseback. The route takes you through Svanninge Bakker/Bjerge, the Holstenshus forests to Brændegård Lake near Corinth.
This area offers fantastic nature with beautiful cultural forests and hilly landscapes. Faaborg Camping also welcomes those of you who want to bring your own horses to the campsite. We offer lovely paddocks where you can water and feed your horses yourself.
Cycling paradise around Faaborg
The area around Faaborg Camping is made for cycling experiences, whether you're a family or sports enthusiasts.
Here you'll find long flat stretches along coasts, fjords and fjords as well as more hilly routes further away from the coast in the breathtaking nature, where sea views are often part of the experience. If you are looking for challenges, you will find Bjergvejen and the good hills around Håstrup.
MTB adventure
If you like mountain biking with lots of challenges, Faaborg is the place to go. Just outside Faaborg Camping, the first of many trails begins - a brand new MTB trail in hilly terrain.
It's free to ride the trails in Svanninge Bakker. We also welcome groups for MTB weekends and vacations.
