Horsens City Camping is the perfect base for an active and adventurous vacation! Located on the edge of the charming city of Horsens and close to one of the area's most beautiful sandy beaches, the campsite offers the ideal combination of nature, culture, city life and relaxation.
Horsens City Camping is just a stone's throw from the beach, where you can enjoy the sun and swim in the clear water. There is a jetty and, of course, a Blue Flag.
The beach has good swimming opportunities and high water quality, so hours will fly by with fun and games or a refreshing swim. In the campsite's covered and heated pool, you can enjoy the water and have fun whether it's raining or sunny.
Experience Horsens Fjord from the water
For the adventurous, the campsite offers rental of sea kayaks and SUP boards so you can explore Horsens Fjord and its unique nature from the water.
Horsens Fjord offers a rich bird and plant life, dense forest areas and a fjord landscape with shallow water, several beautiful beaches and the islands Vorsø, Alrø and Hjarnø.
You may be lucky enough to meet both seals and porpoises on your trip! The most beautiful nature tour is along the coast from Husodde to Brigsted west of Vorsø (7.5 km), from where you can either row on to the lovely Sondrup Strand and Alrø or return to Husodde.
More great golf courses in your backyard
And for golf enthusiasts, there are several excellent golf courses within a short distance. In fact, within a 6 km radius you will find 3 golf courses, including the award-winning Stensballegaard Golf Club, which is practically in Horsens City Camping's backyard.
Stensballegaard Golf Club has a 27-hole championship course and a 9-hole Pay & Play course, which in 2010 was named "The world's best new golf course".
The golf course is incredibly scenic, surrounded by forests and overlooking Horsens Fjord. All the courses are of a very high standard, and the updated 9-hole Par 3 course sits enthroned with a fantastic view of Horsens Fjord and the city.

Enjoy a carefree and comfortable family vacation in a TimeOut luxury tent at Horsens City Campipng. This modern and fully equipped tent is designed to give you the perfect balance between nature and comfort, strategically located close to service buildings, the playground, and in an area that is bathed in sunshine from morning to night.
In the TimeOut tent, you'll find everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Comfortable sleeping facilities are provided with two 140 x 200 box spring mattresses, complete with duvets and pillows. After a good night's sleep, head outside to the spacious terrace and greet the day with the first rays of the morning sun.
Inside the tent, a cozy little kitchen area awaits you, equipped with basic kitchenware and a fridge. Here you can prepare small meals and snacks, while larger cooking and dishwashing tasks are easily taken care of in the campsite's communal kitchen. A dining table with chairs is also available for family mealtimes.
