Enjoy a beach holiday at the top of Djursland by the beautiful, fine-grained sandy beach and swimming pool with plenty of play opportunities for the kids and excursions to zoos, amusement parks and cozy harbor towns.
The swimming pool is the main attraction along with the well-equipped playground with trampolines, bouncy castle, mooncar track, climbing towers and cable car. Children can also burn off energy on the ball court, play a game of beach volleyball or mini golf.
Great beach for kids, water lovers and anglers
DCU-Camping Gjerrild Strand is located at the top of Djursland, just a few hundred meters from some of the area's most beautiful, fine-grained sandy beaches, popular with both anglers and those active with paddleboards and kayaks.
The north beach is an exciting fishing spot and a great alternative to Gjerrild Klint itself. You can fish all the way from Gjerrild Klint, where there is a bathtub and a fine coastline for sea trout fishing.
Gjerrild Strand is also known for its flatfish and turbot is not uncommon here. At low tide, you can wade fish on the reefs.
Active vacation in nature
The campsite is located in the middle of nature and offers you plenty of opportunities to relax or have an active vacation with paddleboarding, fishing rods, cycling and hiking.
Enjoy nature and fresh air at the northernmost point of Djursland, where Emmedsbo Skov is located. The scenic area has a varied nature with forests, lakes and beaches all around.
In the forest area you can experience the many free-ranging red deer, fallow deer, silka deer and roe deer.

A living room with kitchen Two sleeping cabins The tents are equipped with a small kitchen with a refrigerator, electric kettle, basic kitchen utensils and tableware.
There is a dining table and a small sofa group. The 4 sleeping places are equipped with duvets and pillows. There is also a source of heating in the tent.
The covered terrace has a table and chairs. Parking by the tent.
